Fall Scramble starts September 19, 2022, for 4 weeks on Monday nights.  We will have 4 teams and play at Tingley for 6:30 and 7:30 games.  Mary Rael and the volunteer fall captains will be drawing names and equalizing teams within the next couple of weeks.  More to come from Mary Rael.

Los Altos Renovation

We are starting to see progress at Los Altos. Be assured that we are working toward adding to the USSSA calendar and annual Route 66 Classic tournament to Albuquerque for senior women from all over the US and Canada.  The city can give no promises but say they are hopeful for May of 2023!  We will keep you updated.  Meanwhile, let's work together to bring smaller tournaments to ABQ, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas or Santa Fe for our ladies.

SWSL

Our league is growing, and we recognize the pains - they were expected.  All of you are valued and we look forward to your input for next year.  We need to add at least one team for the summer of 2023, assuming everyone is returning except Last Minute.  Please help spread the word out there about SWSL.  Let Mary Rael (505-0249-1241) or Pat Stanalonis (505-715-2605) know of potential contacts on other teams.

Strike Out Cancer - October 22, 2022, at Tingley.

We will be pulling the captains together to nail down the rules before October 1.  We had an initial meeting with Mike Pope, David Simon and Adrienne Palacio this week and successfully worked through the issues that occurred last year so we will play our senior rules including open inning.  We have Get Dirty, 3 Up 3 Down, Otra Vez, Bat Attitude, Last Minute plus just enough players at this point to make up 2 ad hoc teams.  Sign-ups are open for more players for more players from our league or even a team from Gallup or El Paso to join us so that we have 8 solid teams.  Teams must register and pay through USSSA and Toni Ramsey as you do for City League.  Ad hoc players will pay individually, and we will register the teams with USSSA via NMSSF.  The city will provide food vendors at the field this year.  Please contact Debbie Parrish, Celeste Cole or Pat Stanalonis, with questions, concerns or suggestions.
